A Production and Material Planner’s main objective is to optimize the manufacturing process to meet production schedules on time and within budget. This is achieved by meticulously planning the demand for raw materials and components, scheduling production activities, and managing inventory levels to prevent both shortages and excess stock. You shall report directly to the SUPPLY CHAIN, SENIOR MANAGER.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for Flavor, PMD and SMD
- Prepare the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and obtain approval
- Issuing and closing Job Cards for Flavor, PMD, and SMD
- Monitoring the production processes against MPS
- Calculate the production time accuracy
- Monitoring material expiration dates
- Liaise with Warehouse to prepare the near expire and/or expired materials list
- Liaise with Quality & Warehouse to manage on-hold materials
- Manage materials safety stock
- Prepare the trial plan for new materials
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma 4 / Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or other related fields with 3 – 5 years’ experience in PPIC in a manufacturing environment (tobacco or FMCG)
- Having strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking, with priority on resource planning capability
- Attention to details
- Have knowledge in ERP system
- Good communication skills in Bahasa and English (written and verbal)
- Expert Microsoft Excel skill
- Willing to take up cross function support
- Willing to work in Malang and travelling if necessary
- Willing to do ad hoc assignment
